- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until combined.
- Add melted butter and beat until smooth.
- Add milk, vanilla, and salt and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into egg shapes.
- Freeze the eggs for 1 hour.
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 30-second intervals.
- Dip each egg into melted chocolate and return to baking sheet.
- Chill until chocolate is set.
Notes
- Do not use natural peanut butter.
- Freeze eggs before dipping for best results.
- Store eggs refrigerated.
