- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes
- Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes and thread onto skewers
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F
- Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté garlic until fragrant
- Add honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar and simmer
- Mix cornstarch with water and stir into sauce until thickened
- Grill skewers 5-7 minutes per side brushing sauce at the end
- Or bake for 20 minutes then broil with sauce for 2-3 minutes
- Let skewers rest briefly and serve with extra sauce
