Description

It all started on a breezy midweek evening when these Honey Garlic Shrimp Bowls came together in minutes. Sweet honey mixes with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create a bold glaze that coats tender shrimp. Served over rice with fresh vegetables, these bowls bring comfort and balance to any day.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

¼ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce or tamari

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cups cooked rice or quinoa

1 cup broccoli florets

¼ cup green onions, sliced

Optional: sesame seeds or red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.

2. Heat olive oil and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side.

3. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer until glossy.

4. Steam or sauté broccoli.

5. Assemble bowls with rice, shrimp, vegetables, and toppings.

Notes

Dairy-free and gluten-free with tamari.

Use pre-cooked shrimp by warming in sauce.

Add carrots, peppers, or edamame for more color.
