Description

A rich, gooey fusion of brownies and bread, Hot Fudge Brownie Bread delivers a melt-in-your-mouth experience with every slice. Perfectly moist, fudgy, and irresistibly chocolatey—a dessert lover’s dream!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. Avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in hot fudge sauce, reserving some for drizzling on top.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Drizzle remaining fudge sauce and swirl lightly with a toothpick.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

1️⃣ Don’t Overmix the Batter: Overmixing can make the bread dense and tough. Gently fold the ingredients together until just combined for a soft, fudgy texture.

2️⃣ Hot Fudge Placement: For extra gooeyness, swirl the hot fudge sauce into the batter and drizzle some on top before baking.

3️⃣ Toothpick Test Caution: When checking for doneness, a clean toothpick might not always indicate readiness due to the fudge. Look for a few moist crumbs instead of wet batter.
