- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1–2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes
- Dredge chicken in seasoned flour
- Fry chicken until golden and cooked through
- Mix biscuit dough and cut biscuits
- Bake biscuits until golden
- Simmer honey with red pepper flakes and vinegar
- Assemble biscuits with fried chicken and hot honey
