Description

The Iced Spanish Latte is a chilled espresso-based drink blending rich coffee with creamy milk and sweetened condensed milk. It’s smooth, bold, and refreshingly sweet—perfect for warm days or as a sweet coffee indulgence any time of year.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot (30 ml) espresso

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) regular milk (whole, skim, or plant-based)

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sweetened condensed milk

  • Ice cubes (enough to fill the glass)

Instructions

  • Brew a shot of espresso and set aside.

  • In a container, mix the milk and sweetened condensed milk until well blended.

  • Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.

  • Pour the milk mixture over the ice.

  • Gently pour the espresso over the top to create a layered effect.

  • Stir lightly and serve immediately.

Notes

Use plant-based milk (like almond or oat) for a dairy-free version.

Adjust sweetness by changing the ratio of condensed milk.

Enhance with flavorings like vanilla extract, cinnamon, or orange zest.

Best served fresh, but can be pre-mixed (without ice) and chilled for later.
