These Italian Sausage-Stuffed Banana Peppers are a simple yet flavor-packed dish featuring juicy banana peppers stuffed with garlic-infused Italian sausage, mozzarella, and a blend of Parmesan and Romano cheese. Ingredients
450 g (1 lb) ground Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
30 g (1/3 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
20 g (1/4 cup) Parmesan-Romano cheese blend
1 heaping tbsp minced garlic
12 banana peppers (sweet or spicy variety)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Cut off tops of banana peppers. Remove seeds and rinse. Pat dry.
In a bowl, mix sausage, mozzarella, Parmesan-Romano, and garlic until well blended.
Stuff each pepper fully with sausage mixture.
Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes, until sausage is cooked and peppers are tender.
Optional: drizzle with warm marinara sauce before serving.

Use spicy sausage or hot peppers for more heat.
Refrigerate stuffed peppers ahead of time for later baking.
Serve with crusty bread, salad, or creamy polenta.
Bell or poblano peppers can be substituted.
