Description

Fruit salad with jello mixed together with whipped topping and a surprising touch of mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, diced
  • 30 ounces canned mandarin oranges, drained
  • 30 ounces canned peaches, drained and diced
  • 3.4 ounces red gelatin mix
  • 3.4 ounces orange gelatin mix
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare both gelatin flavors using 3/4 cup hot water and 3/4 cup cold water for each package.
  2. Refrigerate gelatin until completely firm.
  3. Thaw whipped topping in the refrigerator.
  4. Dice strawberries and peaches into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Drain mandarin oranges thoroughly.
  6. Grate mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cut firm gelatin into 1/2-inch cubes.
  8. Combine fruit, gelatin cubes, and cheese in a large bowl.
  9. Fold in whipped topping until evenly mixed.
  10. Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.

  1. Thaw whipped topping while the gelatin sets.
