Description

Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowls are flavorful, quick, and perfect for meal prep or a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

3 garlic cloves minced

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp pepper

2 cups cooked rice

Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

1. Cook ground beef and garlic in skillet until no longer pink, then drain.

2. Whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper, and pepper in bowl.

3. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer 2 minutes.

4. Serve beef over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Store leftovers up to 4 days.

Freeze cooked beef for up to 3 months.

Use tamari for gluten-free option.
