Description

Classic Macaroni Hawaiian Salad with creamy dressing, tender pasta, and fresh vegetables. Perfect for gatherings and summer meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion, grated
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook macaroni 3 minutes longer than al dente
  2. Drain and place hot pasta in a bowl
  3. Drizzle vinegar over pasta and let cool
  4. Mix vegetables and dressing ingredients in a separate bowl
  5. Combine dressing with cooled pasta
  6. Fold gently until coated
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving
