Description
A classic cranberry salad with apples, citrus, nuts, and a lightly set base that works as a holiday side or dessert.

- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 large Granny Smith apple
- 1 large orange
- 1 large Honeycrisp apple
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 6 ounces raspberry gelatin
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Zest the orange, peel it, and process the fruit until smooth.
- Chop the cranberries and apples in a food processor.
- Combine all fruit and nuts in a large bowl.
- Bring water and sugar to a boil until dissolved.
- Remove from heat, cool slightly, and whisk in gelatin.
- Pour mixture over fruit, stir well, and refrigerate overnight.
