Description

Buttery oat crumble bars filled with sweet fresh mango and topped with a golden oat crumble. Easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped fresh mango
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and prepare an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Melt butter and mix with flour, oats, sugars, and salt.
  3. Reserve 1 heaping cup of mixture for topping.
  4. Press remaining mixture into pan to form crust.
  5. Combine mango, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  6. Spread mango mixture over crust.
  7. Sprinkle reserved crumble mixture over mango layer.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes until set.
  9. Cool for 1 hour before slicing and serving.

Notes

  1. Store at room temperature up to 1 week.
  2. Refrigerate up to 10 days.
  3. Freeze up to 6 months in airtight packaging.
