- ½ cup tomato paste
- 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and cut into small cubes
- ½ cup molasses
- ¾ cup dark maple syrup
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon ground mustard
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Peel and cube the peaches.
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk continuously until the tomato paste dissolves completely.
- Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peaches soften and sauce thickens.
- Test consistency by chilling a small amount briefly in the freezer.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly before serving or storing.
