Description

Marry Me Cookies made with browned butter, oats, and two kinds of chocolate baked soft with golden edges.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan until nutty and golden.
  2. Stir sugars into the warm butter and chill briefly.
  3. Preheat oven to 325°F and line baking sheets.
  4. Mix eggs and vanilla into butter mixture.
  5. Add dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and press lightly.
  8. Bake until edges turn golden and centers stay soft.

Notes

  1. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  2. Freeze baked cookies for up to four weeks.
  3. Freeze unbaked dough balls and bake from frozen with extra time.
