Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan until nutty and golden.
- Stir sugars into the warm butter and chill briefly.
- Preheat oven to 325°F and line baking sheets.
- Mix eggs and vanilla into butter mixture.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and press lightly.
- Bake until edges turn golden and centers stay soft.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
- Freeze baked cookies for up to four weeks.
- Freeze unbaked dough balls and bake from frozen with extra time.
