Description
Garlic bread meatball bombs are savory meatball-filled dinner rolls brushed with garlic butter, topped with marinara and melty cheese.

- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons grated garlic
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 12 bakery-style dinner rolls
- 1½ cups marinara sauce
- 12 Italian-style meatballs
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray.
- Whisk together melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cut a 1½-inch well into the center of each roll without cutting through.
- Brush garlic butter inside wells and over tops of rolls.
- Spoon marinara into each well.
- Place one meatball into each roll and top with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle parmesan and mozzarella over the rolls.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use 2-inch meatballs for best fit.
- Do not cut too deep into rolls.
- Check at 20 minutes as oven temperatures vary.
