Description

Pretty Meyer Lemon Tartlets with buttery crust and smooth citrus curd, perfect for parties or elegant desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • berries optional

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and butter until crumbly
  2. Add sugar salt and egg then form dough
  3. Roll dough and cut into rounds
  4. Press into mini muffin tin and freeze
  5. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes
  6. Heat lemon juice
  7. Whisk eggs yolk and sugar
  8. Slowly combine with lemon juice
  9. Cook until thick
  10. Stir in butter cream vanilla and salt
  11. Fill tart shells with curd
  12. Top with berries and serve
