Ingredients
Meat Sauce:

1 lb ground beef

½ lb Italian sausage

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

24 oz marinara or spaghetti sauce

8 oz tomato sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon sugar

Salt and pepper, to taste
Cheese Filling:

15 oz ricotta cheese
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
½ cup sour cream
-
1 large egg, beaten
-
1 tablespoon dried parsley
Additional Ingredients:

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

12 lasagna noodles (regular or oven-ready)
Instructions
Meat Sauce:

Brown beef and Italian sausage in a large pan. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onions soften.

Stir in marinara sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 10 minutes.
Cheese Filling:

Mix ricotta, cream cheese, and sour cream in a bowl until smooth.

Stir in beaten egg and parsley until combined.
Assembly and Baking:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.

Spread meat sauce at the bottom. Layer noodles, cheese filling, mozzarella, and parmesan. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with meat sauce and cheese on top.

Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
