Description

A comforting one-pot dinner that combines seasoned ground beef, tender macaroni, and melted cheddar cheese for an easy cheeseburger-inspired meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups macaroni pasta
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, and drain excess fat
  2. Add the diced onion and cook until soft and translucent
  3. Stir in the macaroni, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the pasta is tender
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and creamy

Notes

  1. Stir occasionally while simmering to prevent sticking
  2. Remove from heat before adding cheese for a smooth sauce
  3. Add a splash of broth when reheating if needed
