Description

Oreo Dirt Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert featuring layers of crushed Oreo cookies, creamy vanilla pudding, and a smooth cream cheese filling. Easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion, it’s a rich, crowd-pleasing treat loved by kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (3.4 oz / 96 g each) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 3 cups (720 ml) cold milk (whole milk recommended)

  • 13.29 oz (375 g) Oreo cookies

  • 8 oz (227 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup (1 stick / 115 g) salted butter, softened

  • 1 ½ cups (180 g) powdered sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 16 oz (450 g) whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Instructions

  • Whisk vanilla pudding mixes and cold milk in a large bowl for 2 minutes until thickened. Cover and refrigerate 5 minutes.

  • Pulse Oreo cookies in a food processor into fine crumbs. Set aside half for bottom layer.

  • Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.

  • Gradually add chilled pudding mixture to cream cheese mix, mixing well.

  • Fold in whipped topping until well combined.

  • Spread half the Oreo crumbs in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.

  • Spread pudding mixture evenly over Oreo crumbs.

  • Sprinkle remaining Oreo crumbs on top.

  • Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. For firmer texture, freeze then thaw slightly before serving.

  • Slice and serve.

Notes

Prepare ahead; flavor improves after chilling overnight.

Try golden Oreos or mix in flavored Oreos for variety.

Allow chilling time for creamy texture.

Can be served in individual cups for portion control.

Substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip if preferred.
