Description

Peach Crumble is a delicious dessert recipe made with canned peaches and topped with a crunchy crumble topping with hints of cinnamon and citrus.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb 10 oz canned sliced peaches, drained
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Add drained peach slices to a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
  4. Transfer peaches to a greased 8-inch baking dish.
  5. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  6. Pour in melted butter and stir until crumbly.
  7. Mix in lemon zest, lime zest, lemon juice, and lime juice.
  8. Sprinkle topping over peaches evenly.
  9. Bake for 34 to 38 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  1. Drain peaches well before mixing.
  2. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
