Description

Easy Peach Dump Cake made with canned peaches, yellow cake mix, butter, and warm spice. A simple cobbler-style dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 cans peaches in heavy syrup (1415 ounces each)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice, cinnamon, or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced into 24 pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Add 2 cans of peaches with syrup to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Drain the third can and add only the peaches.
  4. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Whisk cake mix and spice together.
  6. Sprinkle evenly over peaches.
  7. Pat lightly without mixing into the fruit.
  8. Arrange butter slices evenly on top.
  9. Bake 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Cool 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  1. Do not stir the cake mix into the peaches.
  2. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
