Description

This Peanut Butter Mug Cake mixes peanut butter’s richness with chocolate chips’ sweetness in just 5 minutes. It’s easy and quick, perfect for instant sweet cravings. All you need is a mug, a fork, and a microwave. Ideal for a fast treat on movie nights or to sweeten your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 egg white (from a large egg)
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine the oil, sugar, and egg white in a mug and whisk well with a fork until fully combined.
  2. Add the peanut butter and mix well again.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, and chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  4. Cook in the microwave on high for 1 minute & 10 seconds (see notes below).

Notes

Microwave Times May Vary: Start with the recommended time, but adjust as needed since microwaves differ in power.

Ingredient Substitutions: Feel free to swap in almond flour for a gluten-free version or use milk instead of an egg white for an egg-free cake.

Customize Your Toppings: Get creative with toppings like ice cream, fresh fruit, or a drizzle of extra peanut butter to make your mug cake even more delicious.
