Description

Fresh pineapple salsa made with simple ingredients, bright flavor, and served in a pineapple bowl. Perfect as a dairy free appetizer or party snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups pineapple diced
  • 2 cups diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely diced
  • 1/2 jalapeño seeds removed finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cut pineapple lengthwise and carve out the flesh
  2. Score the inside and scoop out pineapple to create a bowl
  3. Dice pineapple flesh and chop all vegetables
  4. Combine pineapple bell pepper onion jalapeño cilantro lime juice and salt
  5. Mix well and transfer to pineapple bowl
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips
