Description

Creamy Pineapple Walnut Salad made with crushed pineapple, cream cheese, whipped topping, powdered sugar, vanilla, and walnuts. Perfect as a dessert or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 to 20 ounces each) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly in a mesh strainer.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  4. Fold in the drained pineapple and chopped walnuts.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate several hours.
  6. Serve cold.
