Description
The best way to make crockpot crack chicken from scratch! This slow cooker twist on our classic crack chicken recipe features tender chicken breasts in a rich, creamy ranch sauce.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
12 oz cream cheese room temp
2 garlic cloves minced
2 Tbsp ranch powder
3 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
8 oz bacon chopped and cooked
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts, cream cheese, minced garlic, ranch seasoning, butter, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper into the crockpot.
2. Cover with the lid and cook on high for 3–4 hours or on low for 6–7 hours.
3. Once cooked, take out the chicken and shred it using two forks.
4. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot along with the cooked bacon and shredded cheese. Stir everything together and cook until the cheese is melted.
5. Serve, and enjoy friends!
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F before shredding.
Serve on sandwiches, over pasta, or enjoy as a dip.
