Description

This Raspberry Danish features flaky puff pastry filled with sweet cream cheese and fresh raspberries, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • Pinch of salt
  • All-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth
  2. Whisk egg, water, and salt to make egg wash
  3. Roll puff pastry into a square and cut into nine pieces
  4. Add cream cheese filling and raspberries to each square
  5. Fold corners and seal with egg wash
  6. Freeze pastries for 30 minutes
  7. Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving
