Vibrant grilled salmon topped with fresh mango avocado salsa, lime, and herbs for a healthy tropical seafood dinner.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons Tajin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 salmon fillets (4–6 ounces each)
- 1 large ripe avocado diced
- 1 large mango diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper diced
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/2 jalapeño seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Whisk soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, lime juice, garlic, and spices together in a bowl to make the marinade
- Add salmon fillets and coat well then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes
- Dice avocado, mango, bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, and red onion then mix with lime juice and salt to make mango salsa
- Preheat grill to medium high heat around 400–450°F and lightly oil the grates
- Remove salmon from marinade and shake off excess marinade
- Place salmon skin side down on grill and cook 7–9 minutes flipping halfway through
- Remove salmon when internal temperature reaches about 135–140°F
- Serve grilled salmon topped with fresh mango salsa
Notes
- You can replace Tajin with a pinch of chili flakes and lime zest
- Wild caught salmon provides the best flavor
- Bake the salmon at 400°F for 12–15 minutes if you prefer oven cooking
