Description

This Saskatoon Berry Crisp is a warm dessert with juicy berries and a crunchy oat topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Saskatoon berries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8 baking dish
  2. Wash and dry berries
  3. Mix berries with sugar and flour and lemon juice
  4. Pour into baking dish
  5. Mix flour oats and brown sugar
  6. Cut in butter until crumbly
  7. Spread topping over berries
  8. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden

  2. Refrigerate up to one week
