Description

This easy sausage hash brown casserole is creamy, cheesy, and hearty. Perfect for breakfast or brunch, made with sausage, hash browns, and eggs.


Ingredients

1 lb breakfast sausage

30 oz frozen hash browns (thawed)

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

8 large eggs

1 cup milk

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp paprika

2 tbsp butter


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking dish.

2. Cook sausage until browned and drain excess fat.

3. Layer hash browns, sausage, and half the cheese in the dish.

4. Whisk eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers.

5. Top with cheese and bake 35–40 minutes until golden.

6. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey sausage and low-fat cheese.

Freeze before baking for up to 2 months.
