Description

Shrimp Scampi is a fast, flavorful dinner made with garlic butter shrimp and pasta. This savory seafood dish delivers elegance and ease in under 30 minutes—perfect for busy nights or casual entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup dry white wine

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 4 lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 4–5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  3. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 3–5 minutes.

  4. Stir in white wine and black pepper. Let it boil briefly (about 30 seconds).

  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce until well coated.

  6. Top with Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges. Serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp—they turn rubbery fast.

No wine? Use chicken broth and lemon juice.

Fresh Parmesan adds the best flavor.

For heat, add red pepper flakes while cooking garlic.
