Description

These Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes cook up tender, buttery, and full of savory onion flavor with almost no prep.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly and peel if desired.
  2. Place potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the potatoes.
  4. Pour broth over the potatoes and dot with butter.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Check tenderness, garnish with parsley, and serve.
