Description

Smores Pudding Cups are an easy no-bake dessert made with graham cracker crumbs, chocolate pudding, marshmallow fluff, whipped topping, and classic s’mores toppings. They are perfect for kids, parties, camping weekends, and make-ahead summer treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 full graham cracker sheets for layers
  • 1 additional graham cracker sheet, broken into 4 rectangles for topping
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix, 3 ounces
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container whipped topping, 8 ounces, thawed
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 4 mini chocolate bars
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Crush the 8 graham cracker sheets into small crumbs and divide a layer of crumbs among 4 clear cups.
  2. Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with the cold milk for about 2 minutes, until smooth and thick.
  3. Spoon half of the plain chocolate pudding over the first graham cracker layer in each cup.
  4. Add another thin layer of graham cracker crumbs over the pudding.
  5. Stir half of the whipped topping into the remaining chocolate pudding until combined.
  6. Spread the whipped chocolate pudding mixture over the graham cracker layer in each cup.
  7. Add one more light sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs over the whipped pudding layer.
  8. Beat the remaining whipped topping with the marshmallow fluff until smooth and fluffy.
  9. Spoon the marshmallow mixture over the top of each cup and smooth it gently.
  10. Cover the cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Before serving, garnish each cup with a graham cracker piece, one mini chocolate bar, mini marshmallows, and chocolate sprinkles.

Notes

  1. Keep the milk very cold so the instant pudding thickens properly.
  2. Add the final graham cracker garnish, mini chocolate bars, marshmallows, and sprinkles right before serving for the best texture.
  3. Store covered leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  4. Do not freeze these pudding cups because the pudding and whipped topping can become watery after thawing.
  5. For a toasted flavor, toast mini marshmallows separately on a heat-safe surface before adding them to the cups.
