- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon ketchup

- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Combine ground beef with meatball ingredients and roll into balls.
- Brown meatballs in olive oil and set aside.
- Cook sliced onions in butter until caramelized.
- Add broths, seasonings, and bouillon to onions.
- Whisk in cornstarch slurry to thicken gravy.
- Return meatballs to skillet and simmer until cooked through.
Notes
- Do not overmix the meat mixture.
- Brown meatballs in batches for best color.
- Adjust gravy thickness with extra broth if needed.
