Description

Delectable, thick, soft batch chocolate chip cookies with buttery flavor and gooey centers.

Ingredients

Scale

14 tablespoons softened butter

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/2 cups flour + extra as needed

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 cups chocolate chips (any mix)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.

2. Partially melt butter; let cool.

3. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy.

4. Mix in vanilla and eggs one at a time.

5. Add flour, baking soda, salt. Adjust flour if dough is too wet.

6. Fold in chocolate chips.

7. Scoop dough and place on sheets.

8. Bake 10–12 minutes for large cookies or 8–9 minutes for small.

9. Cool on rack and store airtight.

Notes

I used a mix of semi-sweet, milk, and bittersweet chips.
