Scale

Chicken Wrap Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup corn (optional)
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Creamy Southwest Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp salsa
  • 1/2 tsp taco seasoning

Instructions

1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, coat chicken breasts with chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Let it rest, then slice into thin strips.
3️⃣ Prepare the Veggies: Chop lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and bell peppers. Keep them fresh and crisp for the best texture.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce: Mix sour cream, salsa, and taco seasoning in a small bowl.
5️⃣ Assemble the Wrap: Lay a tortilla flat, spread the creamy sauce, add chicken slices, veggies, and shredded cheese. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy: Slice in half and serve with your favorite side—sweet potato fries or a fresh salad pair perfectly!
