- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, extra cheese
Instructions
- Add ground chicken, spinach, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a large bowl.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Cook patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until fully cooked to 165°F.
- Rest patties briefly, then assemble burgers on buns with desired toppings.
Notes
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns for a gluten-free option.
- Patties can also be cooked on a grill over medium heat.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
