Description

Juicy spinach chicken burgers made with white cheddar, fresh herbs, and simple seasonings for a lighter but satisfying meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, extra cheese

Instructions

  1. Add ground chicken, spinach, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a large bowl.
  2. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Divide mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  5. Cook patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until fully cooked to 165°F.
  6. Rest patties briefly, then assemble burgers on buns with desired toppings.

Notes

  1. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns for a gluten-free option.
  2. Patties can also be cooked on a grill over medium heat.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
