Description

A delicious and hearty breakfast sandwich featuring a perfectly seared steak, a soft scrambled egg, and melted cheese, all nestled between a toasted bagel. This satisfying dish is perfect for a morning boost or a fulfilling brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bagel (your choice of flavor)
  • 6 oz steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices cheese (American, cheddar, or your preferred cheese)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking eggs)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: onion, lettuce, tomato, or any desired condiments

Instructions

  • Cook the Steak:

    • Season the steak with salt and pepper.
    • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side (or until your desired doneness). Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  • Toast the Bagel:

    • Slice the bagel in half and toast it to your preference (either in a toaster or on a grill pan).
  • Scramble the Eggs:

    • In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
    • Heat a pan over medium heat, add butter or oil, and scramble the eggs until soft and slightly creamy.
  • Assemble the Sandwich:

    • Place the toasted bagel halves on a clean surface.
    • Layer the bottom half with the scrambled eggs, followed by the sliced steak, and top with a slice of cheese.
    • Close the sandwich with the top bagel half.
  • Serve:

    • Cut the sandwich in half, if desired, and enjoy while warm.

Notes

  • You can add a variety of toppings such as sautéed onions, spinach, or hot sauce for extra flavor.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese for a unique taste.
