Description

Sticky Chicken Tenders coated in a sweet and spicy homemade sauce made with just five ingredients. Ready in 20 minutes, perfect for dinner or game day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 oz frozen crispy chicken strips
  • 1/3 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Ranch dressing (optional)
  • Blue cheese dressing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F or air fryer to 385°F.
  2. Bake chicken strips for 18-20 minutes flipping halfway, or air fry for 11-12 minutes flipping halfway.
  3. In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine hot sauce, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, corn syrup and water.
  4. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer 2-3 minutes until sugar dissolves.
  5. Remove sauce from heat.
  6. Dip cooked chicken strips into sauce and coat completely.
  7. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

  1. Do not overcrowd the pan or air fryer basket.
  2. Coat chicken while both sauce and tenders are hot.
  3. Adjust hot sauce for more or less heat.
