Description
This strawberry basil mocktail is an easy summer drink made with fresh syrup, lime juice, and soda for a refreshing taste.

- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 oz strawberry basil simple syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- 4 oz club soda
- Ice
Instructions
- Wash and slice strawberries, then clean basil leaves.
- Add strawberries, basil, sugar, and water to a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir and press ingredients to release juices while heating.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes until sugar dissolves completely.
- Strain mixture and let syrup cool to room temperature.
- Add syrup and lime juice to a glass with ice.
- Top with club soda and stir gently before serving.
