Description

Soft and chewy strawberry dessert bars made with cake mix, white chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk for a rich, gooey texture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft
  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) strawberry cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch pan with foil and cooking spray.
  2. Beat butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add cake mix and egg and mix until thick dough forms.
  4. Press two-thirds of dough into prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle white chocolate chips evenly over dough.
  6. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over chips.
  7. Top with remaining dough in small pieces and press lightly.
  8. Bake for 27 to 30 minutes until edges are set and lightly golden.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  2. Freeze for up to 3 months for longer storage.
