- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Ice cream, whipped cream, or Cool Whip for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Whisk brown sugar, sugar, nutmeg, butter, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Remove topping mixture from heat and set aside.
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
- Add milk and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
- Fold diced peaches into the batter.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Pour topping mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Cool for 15 minutes before serving.

- Use fresh ripe peaches for best flavor.
- Frozen peaches may be used after thawing and draining.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
