Instructions
Prep Chicken: Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound to ¼-inch thickness. Pat dry.
Marinate (optional): Marinate for 30 minutes using oil, lemon juice, and seasonings for extra flavor and tenderness.
Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Season or Coat: Lightly brush with oil and season with salt and pepper, or coat with desired toppings (breadcrumbs, cheese, etc.).
Bake: Place chicken on tray. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest and Serve: Let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
Notes
To avoid dryness, do not overbake; use a thermometer to check doneness.
For added flavor, sear chicken in a hot skillet before baking.
Air fryer option: Cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Leftovers can be added to salads, sandwiches, wraps, or pasta.
