Ingredients
600 g tomatoes, chopped into 2.5 cm (1 inch) pieces (4 cups)
2 large avocados, peeled, pitted, chopped
60 ml red onion, thinly sliced (¼ cup)
60 ml chopped fresh cilantro (¼ cup)
1 tbsp jalapeño, minced (seeds removed)
60 ml olive oil (¼ cup)
45 ml fresh lime juice (3 tbsp)
5 ml honey (1 tsp)
2.5 g ground cumin (½ tsp)
0.5 g chili powder (¼ tsp)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, avocado, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, lime juice, honey, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
Pour dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat.
Serve immediately or chill for up to 1 hour before serving.

Use firm-ripe avocados to prevent mushiness.
