Description

Vampire Fudge is a bold and spooky Halloween dessert featuring swirls of black and crimson fudge made from candy melts and cream cheese frosting. With its striking marbled effect and rich, creamy texture, this easy no-bake treat is perfect for parties, bake sales, or adding a dramatic centerpiece to your Halloween dessert table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese frosting

  • 1 cup (170 g) black candy melts

  • 1 cup (170 g) red candy melts

Instructions

  • Prepare pan: Lightly grease an 8×8-inch cake pan and line it with parchment paper in a cross shape for easy lifting.

  • Melt candy melts: Place black candy melts in one microwave-safe bowl and red in another. Microwave each separately for 2 minutes on high, pausing every 30 seconds to stir until smooth.

  • Warm frosting: Microwave cream cheese frosting for 45 seconds.

  • Mix colors: Divide frosting evenly into the two bowls of melted candy. Stir each until fully combined.

  • Layer & swirl: Alternate spoonfuls of black and red mixture into the prepared pan. Swirl gently with a skewer or knife to create a marbled effect.

  • Chill: Tap pan to remove air bubbles, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.

  • Serve: Lift fudge from pan, cut into 25–36 squares, and serve.

Notes

Candy melts can be replaced with colored white chocolate, though it will set softer.

Avoid overheating candy melts—stir every 30 seconds for a smooth consistency.

Let fudge sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Store between parchment layers to prevent sticking.
