Description
White Barbecue Chicken is a tangy and creamy grilled chicken recipe made with a mayonnaise-based white barbecue sauce, perfect for summer meals and cookouts.

- 4 cups white barbecue sauce
- 4 large skin-on, bone-in chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare a double batch of white barbecue sauce and divide into portions
- Place chicken in a zip-top bag with 2 cups sauce and marinate for 4 hours or overnight
- Preheat grill to high heat
- Remove chicken, discard marinade, rinse and pat dry
- Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper
- Grill skin side down for 2 to 3 minutes to create grill marks
- Flip chicken and cook for 2 minutes
- Move to indirect heat and reduce grill to medium
- Brush chicken with sauce and cover grill for 5 minutes
- Repeat brushing and cooking process two more times
- Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 160 to 162 degrees F
- Remove from grill, rest for 5 minutes, and serve with reserved sauce
