Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup grated zucchini, squeezed dry
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 10-inch skillet.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Grate cold butter into flour mixture.
  4. Add buttermilk, zucchini, chives, and cheddar cheese.
  5. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  6. Pat and fold dough five times to create layers.
  7. Cut into 8 biscuits and place in skillet.
  8. Bake 18 to 20 minutes until golden and serve warm.
