Cucumber Everything Bagel Salad is a creamy, crunchy summer side dish made with fresh cucumbers, tangy sour cream, red onion, and everything bagel seasoning. It’s a bold, chilled salad that brings bagel-shop flavor to your table in under an hour—perfect for hot days, brunch spreads, or grilling season.


Ingredients

  • 2 English cucumbers, thinly sliced (about 400 g), peeled and deseeded if desired

  • 1 tsp (5 g) salt + more to taste

  • 120 ml (½ cup) sour cream

  • 3 tbsp (21 g) everything bagel seasoning

  • 2 tsp (10 ml) white vinegar

  • ½ tsp (1 g) ground black pepper + more to taste

  • ½ cup (50 g) thinly sliced red onion


Instructions

  1. Place sliced cucumbers in a colander and sprinkle with salt. Let sit for 30–60 minutes to draw out excess moisture.

  2. Rinse and pat cucumbers dry with paper towels.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, everything bagel seasoning, vinegar, and black pepper.

  4. Add cucumbers and red onion. Toss until well combined.

  5. Season to taste with more salt and pepper.

  6. Chill for 30 minutes before serving, or serve immediately.

Notes

The longer the cucumbers sit in salt, the crisper the texture.

Use Greek yogurt for a tangier, higher-protein version.
