Ingredients

Scale

Dough Ingredients:

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¾ cup warm milk

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 egg

Strawberry Filling Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Toppings:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8 minutes. Let it rise for 1 hour.

  2. Make Strawberry Filling: Cook chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a pan for 8–10 minutes. Stir in cornstarch if needed. Let cool.

  3. Make Cheesecake Filling: Blend softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Assemble Rolls: Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread cheesecake filling, then spoon strawberry filling on top. Roll tightly, slice into 10–12 rolls.

  5. Bake: Place rolls in a greased pan, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.

  6. Prepare Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over the warm rolls.

  7. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh or frozen strawberries (thaw and drain if frozen).

Substitute for dairy-free options like plant-based cream cheese and milk.

Add toppings like fresh strawberry slices or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra flair.
