Description
Healthy Blueberry Greek Frozen Yogurt is a refreshing, high-protein dessert that’s naturally sweetened and bursting with fruity flavor. Made with Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, honey, and vanilla, this quick and easy recipe requires no ice cream maker and delivers creamy, guilt-free indulgence. Perfect for summer nights, post-workout snacks, or whenever you’re craving a healthier frozen treat.
Ingredients
2 cups (480 g) plain Greek yogurt (2% or fat-free)
2 cups (300 g) frozen blueberries
3–4 tbsp (45–60 ml) honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
Optional: 1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
Instructions
Add Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, honey, and vanilla to a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
For added texture, mix in a few whole blueberries halfway through blending.
Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey, if desired.
For soft-serve, enjoy immediately. For scoopable frozen yogurt, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze 2–3 hours, stirring once.
If frozen longer, let rest at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Top with fresh berries or granola if desired.
Notes
Use maple syrup or stevia for a lower-sugar alternative.
Boost protein by adding a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
Full-fat Greek yogurt creates a creamier texture; fat-free keeps it lighter.
Try other fruits like strawberries, raspberries, or mango for variety.
Stir every hour during freezing for a less icy texture.
