Description

Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are low-carb, cheesy roll-ups packed with juicy ground beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and a creamy filling—all wrapped in crisp, baked cheese. This quick, 30-minute recipe transforms the classic cheesesteak into a keto-friendly comfort food that’s perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or party appetizers. They’re indulgent, flavorful, and satisfy all your cheesesteak cravings—without the carbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (200 g) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

  • 16 oz (450 g) ground beef

  • ½ medium onion (about 60 g), sliced

  • 1 bell pepper (120 g), sliced

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce

  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, breaking it apart.

  3. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook 5–7 minutes until beef is browned and veggies are tender. Drain grease.

  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cream cheese. Mix until creamy, then remove from heat.

  5. On the baking sheet, create 8 cheese circles with ¼ cup shredded Monterey Jack each, leaving space between.

  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until golden and lace-like.

  7. Let cheese cool for 1 minute (still pliable). Add 2 tbsp beef filling to each circle. Roll or fold cheese around filling.

  8. Rest rolls for 2–3 minutes to set. Serve warm.

Notes

Allow cheese to cool slightly before rolling—too hot and it won’t hold shape, too cold and it will crack.

Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter twist.

Try provolone or cheddar for different flavors.

Prep filling ahead of time for easy entertaining.

Reheat leftovers in the oven for crispness.
